There seems to be some confusion in NSW Sprintcar circles as to where they are racing next Saturday Feb 6th.

Fire Service Plus Nowra Speedway wish to clear up any misconception and officially inform all competitors and supporters that despite what is currently advertised on Sprintcarworld and the Country Series websites, that there will be NO SPRINTCARS AT NOWRA on February 6th.

Nowra had planned to run the second round of the Country Series, but were unable to justify the extras criteria required by the Series organisers. As a club run track, we had little option than to pass up the opportunity.

We would like to make clear that we opted out of the Country Series weeks ago, any perception that this is a last minute, week before the show decision is incorrect. Further, we do not have access to the calendars of the forementioned websites.

Racing will still continue at Nowra on Feb 6th featuring V8 Late Models and the South Coast Street Stocker Title.
