The 8 lap race will actually be his 500th career race start that started all the way back at Nowra in 1995 when he raced a very competitive Ford Escort when he made the switch to speedway after a successful 8 year road racing career at tracks such as Amaroo & Oran Park.

Another Fortnight Until Nowra Speedway Opens Wednesday November 11, 2009. Nowra Speedway Good things may come to those who wait, but sometimes the wait can be frustrating. Regulatory approval to commence the 2009-2010 season is still pending and is not expected before Tuesday 17th Nov. In light of this we feel that it is unfair to competitors and spectators to hold off until after this date for confirmation of the planned November 21st race date. Therefore the club feels there is no alternative but to postpone the meeting. All being well, the season will kick off with racing on December 5th.
