Nowra Speedway -
Two hours south of Sydney and just off the Princes Highway down
Albatross Road towards the Naval Air Station, sits a 400 metre
clay circuit known as Nowra Speedway. In operation since 1995,
and reknown for its fabulous track lighting, the speedway is
located near the regions sports fields on the south-western
outskirts of the city.
How to get to there -
FROM THE NORTH
Follow the Princes Hwy through Nowra. Turn Right into Kalandar
Street at the traffic lights opposite the Archer Resort.
Continue through the roundabout onto Albatross Rd, through the
next roundabout, pass the SES Headquarters. Turn left just
before the Greyhound Track. The Speedway is located behind it.
FROM THE SOUTH
Follow the Princes Hwy to South Nowra. Turn Left into Flinders
Road through the industrial area. Turn right at the T
intersection into Albatross Rd, continue to the Greyhound Track
on the right. The Speedway is behind it.
