Fire Service Plus
Nowra Speedway is a racy little 400 metre clay bullring on the
South Coast of New South Wales. Nowra Speedway is reknowned for
its fabulous track lighting and its family-friendly atmosphere.
Racing is held fortnightly on Saturday nights during Spring and
Summer from October to Easter, with weekly shows during January.
Gates open at 4 with racing from 6pm.
The venue is an
alcohol-free one with full canteen facilities available. Fire
Service Plus Nowra Speedway hosts racing for almost all classes
of racing, but specialises in Street Stock Sedans, 1600 Sedans
and Compact Speedcars. AMCA's, Speedway Karts, Modified
Production Sedans, Junior Sedans, NOS Sprints, Formula 500 and
Microsprints, V8 Late Model Sedan Cars and Litre Sprintcars all
visit the track during the racing season.
With the addition
of more clay to the mix during the off-season (2007-2008) the
track has gained even more grip and provides a great racing
surface for all divisions.
The track has been
the venue for South Coast, NSW and Australian Title events in
the past few years and is highly regarded by competitors, not
only for its wide straightaways that encourage overtaking but
also because organisers place the needs of the competitors
highly in the planning and running of each meeting.
So, come along to
Fire Service Plus Nowra Speedway and find what you have been
missing in your summertime entertainment.
Saturday Night is
Speedway night!
